1. Your Acceptance

2. Gurutoy Website

  1. These Terms of Service apply to all users of the Gurutoy Website, including users who are also contributors of link uploads, information, and other materials or services on the Website.
  2. The Gurutoy Website may contain links to third party websites that are not owned or controlled by Gurutoy. Gurutoy has no control over, and assumes no responsibility for, the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third party websites. In addition, Gurutoy will not and cannot censor or edit the content of any third-party site. By using the Website, you expressly relieve Gurutoy from any and all liability arising from your use of any third-party website.

3. Gurutoy Accounts

  1. In order to access some features of the Website, you will have to create a Gurutoy account. You may never use another's account without permission. When creating your account, you must provide accurate and complete information. You are solely responsible for the activity that occurs on your account, and you must keep your account password secure. You must notify Gurutoy immediately of any breach of security or unauthorized use of your account.
  2. Although Gurutoy will not be liable for your losses caused by any unauthorized use of your account, you may be liable for the losses of Gurutoy or others due to such unauthorized use.

4. General Use of the Website -- Permissions and Restrictions

Gurutoy hereby grants you permission to access and use the Website as set forth in these Terms of Service, provided that:

  1. You agree not to distribute in any medium any part of the Website, including but not limited to User Submissions (defined below), without Gurutoy's prior written authorization.
  2. You agree not to alter or modify any part of the Website.
  3. You agree not to access User Submissions (defined below) or Gurutoy Content through any technology or means.
  4. You agree not to use the Gurutoy website for any commercial use, without the prior written authorization of Gurutoy. Prohibited commercial uses include any of the following actions taken without Gurutoy's express approval:
    • sale of access to the Website or its related services on another website;
    • use of the Website or its related services for the primary purpose of gaining advertising or subscription revenue;
    • the sale of advertising, on the Gurutoy website or any third-party website, targeted to the content of specific User Submissions or Gurutoy content;
    • and any use of the Website or its related services that Gurutoy finds, in its sole discretion, to use Gurutoy's resources or User Submissions with the effect of competing with or displacing the market for Gurutoy, Gurutoy content, or its User Submissions.
  5. Prohibited commercial uses do not include:
    • uploading a link to Gurutoy, or maintaining a link on Gurutoy, to promote your business or artistic enterprise;

  9. Gurutoy is not a publisher of the advertisements provided or produced by advertisers and simply facilitates the placement of such advertisement using its proprietary technology. Therefore Gurutoy cannot arbitrate disputes between advertisers and trademark owners.

5. Your Use of Content on the Site

In addition to the general restrictions above, the following restrictions and conditions apply specifically to your use of content on the Gurutoy Website.

  1. The content on the Gurutoy Website, except all User Submissions (as defined below), including without limitation, the text, software, scripts, graphics, photos, sounds, music, videos, interactive features and the like ("Content") and the trademarks, service marks and logos contained therein ("Marks"), are owned by or licensed to Gurutoy, subject to copyright and other intellectual property rights under the law. 6. Your User Submissions and Conduct

  1. As a Gurutoy account holder you may upload website links. Uploaded website links are collectively referred to as "User Submissions." You understand that whether or not such User Submissions are published, Gurutoy does not guarantee any confidentiality with respect to any User Submissions.
  2. You shall be solely responsible for your own User Submissions and the consequences of posting or publishing them. In connection with User Submissions, you affirm, represent, and/or warrant that: you own or have the necessary licenses, rights, consents, and permissions to use and authorize Gurutoy to use all patent, trademark, trade secret, copyright or other proprietary rights in and to any and all User Submissions to enable inclusion and use of the User Submissions in the manner contemplated by the Website and these Terms of Service.
  3. For clarity, you retain all of your ownership rights in your User Submissions. However, by submitting User Submissions to Gurutoy, you hereby grant Gurutoy a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, sublicenseable and transferable license to use, reproduce, distribute, prepare derivative works of, display, and perform the User Submissions in connection with the Gurutoy Website and Gurutoy's (and its successors' and affiliates') business, including without limitation for promoting and redistributing part or all of the Gurutoy Website (and derivative works thereof) in any media formats and through any media channels. You also hereby grant each user of the Gurutoy Website a non-exclusive license to access your User Submissions through the Website, and to use, reproduce, distribute, display and perform such User Submissions as permitted through the functionality of the Website and under these Terms of Service. The above licenses granted by you in User link uploads terminate within a commercially reasonable time after you remove or delete your User links from the Gurutoy Service. You understand and agree, however, that Gurutoy may retain, display, distribute, or perform, server copies of User Submissions after your profile has been deleted or changed. The above licenses granted by you in User Comments are perpetual and irrevocable.
  4. In connection with User Submissions, you further agree that you will not submit material that is copyrighted, protected by trade secret or otherwise subject to third party proprietary rights, including privacy and publicity rights, unless you are the owner of such rights or have permission from their rightful owner to post the material and to grant Gurutoy all of the license rights granted herein.
  5. You further agree that you will not, in connection with User Submissions, submit material that is contrary to the Gurutoy Community Guidelines, which may be updated from time to time, or contrary to applicable local, national, and international laws and regulations.
  6. Gurutoy does not endorse any User Submission or any opinion, recommendation, or advice expressed therein, and Gurutoy expressly disclaims any and all liability in connection with User Submissions. Gurutoy does not permit copyright infringing activities and infringement of intellectual property rights on its Website, and Gurutoy will remove all Content and User Submissions if properly notified that such Content or User Submission infringes on another's intellectual property rights.

7. Account Termination Policy

  1. Gurutoy will terminate a User's access to its Website if, under appropriate circumstances, they are determined to be a repeat infringer.
  2. Gurutoy reserves the right to decide whether Content or a User Submission is appropriate and complies with these Terms of Service for violations other than copyright infringement, such as, but not limited to, pornography, obscene or defamatory material. Gurutoy may remove such User Submissions and/or terminate a User's access for uploading such material in violation of these Terms of Service at any time, without prior notice and at its sole discretion.

  1. If you are a copyright owner or an agent thereof and believe that any User Submission or other content infringes upon your copyrights, please make direct contact with the user who submitted the link.
  2. 11. Indemnity

You agree to defend, indemnify and hold harmless Gurutoy, officers, directors, employees and agents, from and against any and all claims, damages, obligations, losses, liabilities, costs or debt, and expenses (including but not limited to attorney's fees) arising from: (i) your use of and access to the Gurutoy Website; (ii) your violation of any term of these Terms of Service; (iii) your violation of any third party right, including without limitation any copyright, property, or privacy right; or (iv) any claim that one of your User Submissions caused damage to a third party. This defense and indemnification obligation will survive these Terms of Service and your use of the Gurutoy Website.

12. Ability to Accept Terms of Service

You affirm that you are either more than 18 years of age, or an emancipated minor, or possess legal parental or guardian consent, and are fully able and competent to enter into the terms, conditions, obligations, affirmations, representations, and warranties set forth in these Terms of Service, and to abide by and comply with these Terms of Service. 13. Assignment

The Gurutoy Privacy Policy describes within how it treats personal information when using the Gurutoy website and services. The following describes privacy practices specific to Gurutoy. Personal Information

  • Non-Account Activity. You can conduct searches on Gurutoy without having a Gurutoy account. You can also contact us about a particular link or upload without having a Gurutoy Account.

Your Choices

  • You may, of course, decline to submit personally identifiable information through the Gurutoy Site, in which case you can still view links and explore the Gurutoy Site, but Gurutoy may not be able to provide you with certain services.
  • Updates and corrections can be made at anytime to your account by visiting Gurutoy and making the changes in your profile page.
  • You may manage the information that is available to other users and members who have subscribed to you at any time, by editing your account and certain features that are included on your profile page.

Gurutoy Community Guidelines

Treat the Gurutoy Community with respect.

Do not abuse the Gurutoy website. Do not abuse members and users of Gurutoy.com. We want every member and user of Gurutoy to have a certain level of trust amongst each other. This means that everyone using Gurutoy will be responsible and courteous users between each other. The goal is for everyone to have a pleasurable experience on Gurutoy.com.

Common Sense Rules

Here are some common-sense rules that will help you steer clear of trouble:

  • Respect copyright. Only upload copyrighted logos and material that you are authorized to use, or have permission to use. Read our Copyright Tips in our terms of use documents for more information.
  • Free Speech is allowed and everyone's point of view is valid, even if unpopular.
  • Things like predatory behavior, stalking, threats, harassment, intimidation, invading privacy, revealing other people's personal information, and inciting others to commit violent acts or to violate the Terms of Use are taken very seriously. Anyone caught doing these things may be permanently banned from Gurutoy.
  • Nobody likes spammers. Don't create or write misleading descriptions, tags, titles or thumbnails (link pictures) in order to increase views. We do not like the posting of large amounts of untargeted, unwanted or repetitive content, including comments and private messages. If you are caught doing these things, your membership could be deleted from Gurutoy.

Please take our rules seriously. Do not waste your time trying to find loopholes around the Guidelines. Understand these guidelines and try to respect the spirit of the Gurutoy experience.

Enforcement of the Guidelines

Gurutoy staff reviews flagged links 24 hours a day, 7 days a week in order to determine whether or not they violate our community Guidelines. If and when these flagged links are determined to be in violation, we remove them immediately. Membership accounts are marked if community guidelines have been violated. Serious or repeat violations will lead to your account (membership) termination. If your account is terminated, you won't be allowed to create any new accounts.

The Gurutoy Community

Gurutoy is made up by you, the community. Gurutoy is powered by the people and is an agent of self expression. We encourage everyone to get involved and to start contributing.

  • Enjoy using the site, have fun and learn something every time you use Gurutoy.
  • Your contribution is an expression of what you think. Feedback and communication are important parts of the Gurutoy experience. Rate links, make friends, share your stories and knowledge, but do all these things with respect.
  • Be aware, not all the content on Gurutoy is what you would want to see. Use our "flag as inappropriate" if it violates our Terms of Use or Community Guidelines only. Keep in mind that we allow freedom of speech. Do not get upset if we do not remove these links if you have flagged them as inappropriate. Our recommendation for you on this point is to not look or click on these links.
